• We offer various fittings to choose from, which are listed below:

• Square Base Plate: It is suitable for furniture and equipment with a thin mounting surface that does not have enough depth for a castor and stem system to fit.
• Push-in Stem | Grip Neck: It is designed for furniture with tube or pipe legs or furniture legs and frames with minimal mounting space and a thick timber base to secure the socket connection.
• Threaded Stem: Available in three different thread measurements, providing a secure attachment to a thick timber base. One key benefit of the threaded castor fitting is that removing and replacing castors is easy if necessary.
• UNF Thread (for Expanding sockets): It is suitable for tube furniture legs or frames with expanding socket fittings. The beauty of an expanding socket fitting is its ability to work with a range of tube dimensions, so you do not need to search for an exact match. The expanding socket is sold separately or as a castor and socket set, which can be found under the "ASSOCIATED ITEMS" Tab.

• We offer the following imperial and metric threaded fittings:

• Imperial 3/8 BSW Thread: It screws into a matching 3/8 new or existing insert nut, tee nut, or rivet nut of the same 3/8 thread size.
• Imperial 5/16 BSW Thread: It screws into a matching 5/16 new or existing insert nut, tee nut, and rivet nut of the same 5/16 thread size.
• Metric M10 Thread: It screws into a matching M8 new or existing insert nut, tee nut, and rivet nut of the same M8 thread size.

• All our castors are available with connecting sockets, nuts, or screws, which you can find under the "ASSOCIATED ITEMS" tab.

• Type: Square base plate for screw fastening
• Application: The square base plate attachment is particularly suited to furniture with a thin mounting surface where a castor and pin stem system cannot be fitted.

Grip Neck | Push-In Stem Fitting:

• Type: Push-in grip neck pintle stem #7
• Application: The perfect solution for fastening castor wheels to tube furniture legs on desks, tables, and trollies with minimal mounting space or inserted into furniture and equipment with a thick timber base.
• Compatible Components: #7 Pintle Sockets
• Round Nylon Sockets for Tube: Product Codes N5, N6, N7, N4, N10, N3, N13, N15 and N17.

Screw-In Threaded Stem Fitting:

• Type: 20mm threaded stem 
• Application: The main benefit of castors with a threaded rod or stem is their ease of replacement by simply unscrewing. Typically used to fix castor wheels to timber furniture frames on sofas, chairs, beds, and table legs
• Compatible Components: When replacing existing castor wheels, please ensure the connecting nut in your furniture has a matching thread.
• 5/16 Thread Screw-In Castor = 5/16 Texcert | Insert Nut with Flange, 5/16 bsw thread x 20mm long
• 3/8 Thread Screw-In Castor = 3/8 Texcert | Insert Nut with Flange, 3/8 bsw thread x 20mm long

Expanding Socket Pin Threaded Stem Fitting:

• Type: 3/8 UNF x 50mm pin for Expanding Socket
• Application: the expanding socket pin threads into socket an expanding socket. Expanding sockets fit various tube sizes - to purchase a castor with an expanding socket click here. 
• 25mm of the castor's pintle stem is threaded so that the castor screws into the expanding socket nut.
• Compatible Components: When replacing existing castor wheels, please ensure the connecting socket in your furniture has a matching thread.
• Important note: the 3/8 UNF is a fine-pitch thread with more threads per inch; it will not work with the 3/8 BSW.
