• The Cameo Chair Base combines a strong and durable Nylon base with a 50mm Morse 3 Tapered Core for maximum stability, which will accept 50 or 50.8mm diameter gas cylinder columns.

• What is a Morse 3 Tapered Core?

Morse Taper is an international measurement standard or reference for the 'taper' within the centre hole of office chair bases. This morse taper number 3 chair base (female part) matches the gas lift (male part) taper number 3. A tapered shape is wide at one end and narrower at the other to provide a secure and stable fitting of the chair's gas lift seat post within the centre hole in the base.
